Her eyes pop open. It's approximately 7 in the morning. She sighs as she pushes the covers off her. It's just another morning. Another day she just has to survive. She has a name; her name's Alexis. Alexis Liliana Garcia. But, she doesn't like being called that. She prefers if you call her Alex. Alexis just seems too girly of a name for her. She doesn't like doing stuff other girls like doing, like make-up, fixing your hair, and all that other crap. No, she likes playing basketball, football, baseball, and all that. She doesn't care if she chips her nails, or if she gets mud all over her playing football. That doesn't mean she doesn't care how she looks, she really does. She just doesn't have all the patience to sit and carefully separate every single split-end. Maybe that's why she gets terrible grades. Or maybe it's because she smokes chronic almost 10 times a day. Who knows?
She trudges to school, making her way through some park. She never bothered to remember the name of the park.
